Division Black was an extension of Billups that specialized in experiential marketing. We felt the need to brand DB separately to create hype around their work, emphasize the team, highlight their collective experience and demonstrate the executions they were capable of excecuting.
Division Black required a strong bold logo with an “under cover” / “military” look. The messaging was bold and aggressive, so I designed accordingly. We worked with brand clients like Nike, Jordan and Rag and Bone. It was important that these brands recognized the culture fit. I was also given the oppurtunity to travel with the campaigns to shoot their installation and reveal.
