Photography has proven to be a necessary creative outlet over the past 7 years. Understanding and recognizing my progression is a reminder that nothing is set in stone. What I deem as appealing now may very well repulse me in 6 months. But I tend not to dwell on the past or base decisions off it. Embracing the evolution will only make me stronger. Creating pictures is not something I need to think hard about until after the photographs exist. It comes naturally and it feels right. I do however enjoy contemplating the existence of a photo or why a subject matter has appealed to me. Photography has taken me places, it’s taught me invaluable lessons and best of all it’s lead me to meet some of my favorite and most interesting people.
